Hosted at the CTICC in Cape Town from 28 May '09 until 31 May '09.

Entrance is R75 for Adults and R35 for children under 12 & pensioners.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online. Purchasing your ticket online ensures you fast and efficient access to the show via the webtickets priority queue.

(Please note that there are no reserved seats for Chefs In Action Theatre demonstrations slots, so be sure to get there early.)

Additional tickets for the Chefs in Action Theatre can be purchased at a cost of R30; bookings can be made online or at the door.

What to expect:

From the Garden to the Kitchen - there is such a demand for seasonal produce in the world and South Africa is hot on their heels. It is a healthier and cheaper option. Here individual organic producers will also be able to showcase their produce and consumers will be able to learn to grow their own fruit and vegetables for consumption.
 
The Beer and Cider Route – a showcase of premium local and imported ciders and beers available in South Africa, including an interactive theatre forum, providing educational talks by international master brewers  and playing host to a prestigious beer pouring competition.
 
The Great Wine Sale – an extension of the ever-popular Wine Walk, this area dedicated area will showcase premium wines, available for tasting and purchase at great Show prices. Packages for wineries participating in this area are fully inclusive of all stand services and a complimentary porter service.
 
City Bites- some of the best restaurants in Cape Town, Durban and Gauteng will feature in City bites that was introduced at the Durban show last year.
 
Convenience foods – “Convenience”’ has become a buzz word in most households where both husband and wife work. This area promises to be a hive of activity.
 
Outdoor Entertaining – interactive theatre, great chefs and sport personalities will demonstrate outdoor cooking and living at its best.
 
The Good Food & Wine Show ® introduces the Great Wine Sale to Cape Town this year. Winemakers can sell boxes of wine direct to the public.

Super Foods For Kids - with an emphasis on healthy eating for kids, this interactive workshop area for children aged 3-12 is family friendly with hands-on cooking demonstrations and fantastic lunch box ideas.
 
Best South African Restaurant Chefs Theatre - a slew of award-winning South African restaurant chefs conjure up their signature dishes, while you sit back and absorb the magic.
